End grain cutting boards
Each board is made with a hand-picked orientation that best displays the waving patterns and shapes of end grain. Aside from their aesthetic appeal, end grain cutting boards are the most durable, hide knife marks, and will not dull knives. This is because the end grain provides a very fibrous cutting surface that allows the knife to sink between the fibers instead of slashing across them.

Size: 13.5" x 8.5"
Thickness: 1.75"
Made in Toronto from sustainably sourced Ontario hardwood.
Finished with two coats of food-grade mineral oil and one coat of a mineral oil-beeswax blend to give a nice sheen and extra protection.
Care Instructions:
Wash by hand with mild detergent. Do not allow to soak in water or go through the dishwasher. When your board begins to look dry, you will need to apply a coating of mineral oil, beeswax, or a blend of the two. Make sure to apply these when the board is dry. If using beeswax, allow some time for the wax to dry and then buff the excess off for a nice sheen.
